Hi, Today I had to go to extreme northern
Delaware for a family function. Upon getting to the relative's house I saw blooming flowers across the narrow street on the edge of a wooded lot. These were Smooth Heath Asters still in bloom. Most folks never see/notice these and most of the aster family unless there is a large amount of blooms that shout out loud. This is our latest flower but no butterflies today as it barely rose above freezing with breezy conditions. Below is a poor picture as I shot it from about fifty feet away.
