Little Glassywing- A Skipper

Hi on this rainy, very rainy Monday morning. Today I am posting a rather drab butterfly, although it does have enough markings to clearly identify, even for the new viewers. The Little Glassywing is basically all brown, although it does have a faint markings in both forewing and hindwing. The best way to separate the Glassywing from similar Dun Skipper is to look closely/carefully for the white spots beneath the antenna clubs. Little Glassywings can be very variable from fresh to worn individuals, hence very confusing. Here are some pix to help you see the various marking mentioned above. Have a great day, Denis
